It can activate hair follicle stem cells, promote their growth, migration, and differentiation, while simultaneously reducing the expression of extracellular matrix degrading enzymes and increasing the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and fibronectin, thus rebuilding and repairing the dermis and providing a favorable external environment for hair follicle development. In vitro and in vivo tests showed that the hair growth octapeptide did not exhibit any cytotoxicity, skin irritation, allergenicity, or eye irritation. Applications
